This award was given to me by Cheryl of Kangaroos of the Scrubby Bush. Cheryl is a sweet mama to several kangaroos and wallabies Down Under. If you'd like to know more about these wonderful Australian animals, please head on over to Cheryl's. And now, I have to link some of my old posts for the following categories...

1. Most Beautiful  A beautiful moment I shared with my son.

2. Most Popular  I got quite a number of comments on this post I wrote about blogging.

3. Most Controversial  The culprit is now in custody. She has denied all allegations and has accused her 4-year-old accomplice; who has also denied any wrongdoing. The hearing continues.

4. Most Helpful  This skill that I've acquired might come in handy as a coping mechanism for mothers. It's helped me keep my sanity many many times.

5. Most Surprisingly Successful  This post has an all-time highest number of pageviews. I really don't know why. My only guess is Macaulay Culkin must still be very popular.

6. Most Underrated  I got '0' comment on this one. Was it too scary or disgusting? You tell me okay.

7. Most Pride Worthy  I'm proud of writing this because It's a realisation that I need to address something negative in me and change for the sake of my family. Pouring my heart out about my weakness to the internet world is not only terrifying, but therapeutic as well. Thank you all who commented on this post and gave me some much needed 'therapy'.

And as an added bonus, I'm giving away this award too

Awarded to me by Kerry and Janice
Enjoy your awards friends.

Versatility

This post was inspired by the award given to me by Kerry of It's The Little Things
and Janice of Mommy's Lounge

Thanks for the award Kerry & Janice!

I don't think I'm such a Versatile Blogger but I am definitely a Versatile Mom based on the the definition of "versatility" from Free Dictionary: Having varied uses or serving many functions

Here are my 'varied uses and many functions' as a mom....

As a Clown
When the kids need a good laugh. When it's time for fooling around. When silliness is in the air. When you need to chase the blues away. Mom Clown is here to save the day!

As a Maid
Need the laundry done? Your toilets cleaned? Your toys packed away? Your bums washed after a big one? Call 1800-MOM-MAID.

As a Personal Chef
Mademoiselle et Monsieur I present you.....

In case you're wondering, I don't speak French. These were Googled.
Barbara, please correct me if I'm wrong.

As a Teacher
A is for Atom. B is for Blog. C is for Comment.

As a Playmate (not the Hefner kind)
I can kick, throw and catch a ball. I can build robots and spaceships. I can even fetch a stick better than a dog can. I'm great at hide and seek and will often let you find me. I can blow big bubbles and play catch with you. Need a playmate? Call me.

As a Bodyguard
"Stand back, there's someone coming down the slide."
"Excuse me! Baby here! No pushing."
"I don't think you should climb on that, it looks dangerous"

As a Book Reader
This Book Reader is better than any digital book reader you can find in the market. It will actually read to you in it's sweetest voice {ahem}, several times of the same book if you like (up to a maximum of 5 on some days), and is willing to pause and answer questions along the way.

As a Milk Vending Machine

As a Law Enforcement Officer
You have the right to remain silent,
Anything you say or do now will make me angrier,
It was wrong for you to hit your brother
You better say you are sorry now or
I will hold all rights to junkfood
until you are old enough to buy your own.

Life's Lessons - Blogging and Russian Girl Edition

Wrapping up my week again with Rach and Sara's linky, Life's Lessons.  It's kind of fun to do this just to reflect on how life has been the past week. Recap your week and go link up with the lovely ladies. (Just with Rach this week as Sara has just lost her dad last week - my condolences and prayers goes out to her and her family during this difficult time).

Life With Baby Donut

1. I attended my first blog conference - #SummerBlogSocial 2011 and it was fun getting to read about what other bloggers have to share.

2. Found some great blogs to read as well along the way.

3. I won my first giveaway prize via Kerry's blog It's the Little Things and it's the first time I've actually won something (as in a thing) online.

4. I got me another blog award! This time from Leslie of Time Out For Mom. She think's I'm smokin' hot...no wait...she meant my blog's smokin' hot.

I've already revealed 7 facts about myself here.
And I'm going to pass this along to the following 6 bloggers.
Alison of Mama Wants This!
Mama J of Mama Hear Me Roar,
Kimberly of Mama's Monologues,
Stasha of The Good Life,

You people are smokin' hot too! (Blog wise)

5. I've launched a new guest post series on my blog called Tipsy Friends to commemorate my blog reaching 100 followers. Send me your posts friends!

6. We've finally managed to rent out our studio apartment to a single Russian lady. I have not seen her but my hubby has.

7. Now I can't get Angelina Jolie in Salt out of my head.

Till Monday, take care.

An Award

Jen and I were telephatically connected when we decided to give each other awards at the same time, yesterday. This is my third award this week and I'm totally humbled. Thanks Jen, you're a gem! I'm going to keep this award here for awhile before I decide to give it out. I'd like to get to know more wonderful bloggers out there first, who would be deserving of this.

Ahhh....basking in the sunshine.....

So, tell me, what comes to mind when you think of sunshine?

The Award Winners

I finally got awarded.

For writing nonsense on my blog. Woohoo!

And 2 awards at that!

*Clap Clap Clap*

*Crowd Cheering*

Thank you. Thank you.

This crazy and sweet mama of The Frantic Ravings of A Mother has awarded me my very first blog awards. She finds me versatile and stylish at the same time; just like herself. Thanks Miranda, I'm honored to receive these awards from you. (I'm actually assuming you're giving me both). You're a true bloggy friend! *HUGS*

Now in paying it forward.... (in no particular order)

The Versatile Blogger Award goes to *drum roll*

1. Jen of Runner Mom
2. Martha of Growing With Guidance
3. MG of Mumsgather
4. Rach of Life With Baby Donut
5. Jenny of I'm a Full-time Mummy
6. Elena of Mommy is In Timeout
7. Julie of Mamamash
8. Erica of freefringes

The Stylish Blogger Award goes to *drum roll*

1. Catheryn of PinkBibs
2. Carolyn of Lil' Dahling
3. Natalie of From Corporate To Domestic
4. Barbara of Little Chumsy's Blog
5. Sheoh Yan of Blog With Yan
6. Yee Ling of Ling In De House
7. Janie of Hoo Goes Where
8. Jessica of My Time As Mom

(There are many great blogs out there that are deserving of awards. These are just some of them that I assume do not have these awards yet. Kindly return the award if you've already got one of these)

Now to enlighten you with 7 facts about myself...

1. I used to sleep as a hobby. I love sleepathons. My friends used to tell me I'm like a bear in winter - always hibernating. Sadly, my kids came and kicked me out of hibernation forever. Now, I can't even sleep through more than 2 hours before my clock-worked brain snaps me out of sleep mode.

2. I cried watching Kungfu Panda II. The part when mama panda had to leave poor little baby Po. *Sniff Sniff*

3. I had a crush on an animated guy. The handsome hunk who was turned into the Beast in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Don't ask.

4. I detest folding my blanket and making my bed. I'm sloppy, yes, yes. And, this is one thing even having kids can't change.

5. I love watching T.V. Shhh....my kids don't know; and must NEVER know.

6. I hate cats. I don't mind kittens though. I apologise to cat lovers but I just don't like them. Why? Firstly our neighbour's cat ALWAYS pees on our shoes. Secondly, I can't stand the noise they make when they're DOING IT. Keeps me up the whole night wishing I was the one making the noise.

7. I like talking to old people who aren't senile yet. I like to listen to their stories. They are like walking, talking antiques. And I love antiques.

Dear Award Recipients,

Enjoy your awards and remember to
1) Pay it forward (to as many blogs as you like - frankly I don't know what the rule is but I'm guessing it's between 5 to 15)
2) Spill the beans on 7 facts about yourself (the more embarrassing the better)
