Learning Manners From A Sibling

My girl at 18 months, can say 'thank you', 'sorry' and 'please' although they sound more like 'thang tee', 'saw way' and 'peese'. Who did she learn these good manners from? Her one and only Koh Koh!

My hubby prefers to call it manipulation rather than manners. She knows these are like 'passport' words to get what she wants and get away with things she's not suppose to do. Kids these days!

I can still remember how we drilled these words into our son to instill manners in him. Everytime he gets something from someone, wants something from us or does something wrong we'd say "What do you say?". He must have gotten so sick of hearing that, that he decided to remember his manners. Thank goodness we don't have to do that with our girl. We have a sibling for her to learn from. And I'm glad her Koh Koh sets a good example for her.....most of the time.
