I'm Not Back Yet

I haven't blogged for so long, I almost forgot how to sign in and navigate Blogger. Phew! Thankfully nothing much has changed with the settings.

Well, it's been almost 2 years since my last blog post. Technically I'll be celebrating my Non-Bloggin'versary soon.

So much has happened in my life! I still have 2 kids and they've grown! I also still have a husband and he's grown too...some white hair.

I've also made so many like-minded mummy (non-Egyptian) friends, which explains why I haven't been blogging. I've been socialising much with my new (now not-so-new) friends. I know, I'm bad for abandoning my blog without so much as a goodbye, or "see ya' later alligator"; but it wasn't planned, I swear! I've tried to blog again many times but just lacked the motivation or time to write and keep up with the blogging world.

I still do think of some of my bloggyfriends and hoping y'all are doing great with life! *pin drop* I understand that many would have lost hope in my return. Who am I kidding, oh ya myself. See, I'm writing nonsense now for myself to read.

I'm not back yet but just a post to say Hi to whoever's reading. Best wishes to you. To those who are still following, I won't hate you for un-following. Best wishes to you too. Take care.

Hi!! I don't know if you'll remember me, but I'm Sarah Kate who used to blog at Dixie Creek Farm. I now write an entirely different blog since we moved to London over a year ago, but I was just going through some old comments on an old post and yours was one of them. I remembered that you'd pretty much abandoned blogging a long time ago, but I wanted to check if there was something new...and I see there is! I've taken quite a few blog breaks over the past few years, too, although none that lasted quite as long as yours. :) I hope you'll get back into it - I always enjoyed reading your posts so much!

Sarah Kate!!! Of course I remember you! SO nice of you to drop by and say hello. I do think of you, you know. I didn't know you moved to LONDON??! How would I have known since I haven't been following up. I will have to check out your new blog some day. Yea, blogging was getting real tiring for me. I guess I fell victim to the Life cycle of the Unsuccessful Blogger. ANyway, SO nice to hear from you. I loved reading your blog too and I hope all has gone real well for you in life.

I know the feeling! I had quit for months until I realized we were going to be moving overseas for a few years. I knew I'd want a record of that so I picked it back up again, but it sure is an exhausting hobby! Part of me will be glad when we go back to our normal, maybe somewhat dull Tennessee lives because then I won't feel the urge to photograph/write about every single little thing we do! :)
