Photo Guessing Fun #1 Answer

A big THANKS to all who participated in yesterday's Guessing Game Fun. Also to Martha for not participating because she already knew the answer.

Those things in the sky
live in here

Here's another look

They're
BATS!

Congratulations to

Natalie of From Corporate To Domestic
Sandy of Twelve Makes A Dozen
Pauline of Pauline's Loft
(Go check them out - they have much to offer as mom bloggers!)

As promised, here is your

Photobucket

Nicely framed up for you.

I hope you had as much fun guessing as I did coming up with this guessing game. I'm thinking of doing it every other week and calling it Photo Guessing Fun. What do you all think?

And now a little info on the photos...
The photos were taken in Mulu National Park, Sarawak, Malaysia. It is a World Heritage Site. A must-do when visiting Mulu is bat watching! I made a trip there with my hubby, before the kids came and was totally awestruck by the sight of thousands of bats flying out from the cave in batches. The batches could number anywhere between 70-100 (if I'm not mistaken). They fly out every evening in search of food. Please check out this post on Malaysia Asia with a video of what you'll actually see there.  Truly a sight to behold. And, you can even spot someone famous there!

I was guessing bats too when I saw caves in one of the photos in the earlier post where you asked the question. :)
Ah very observant. I put that in as a clue. Okay-la I give you an A+ too! :D
Being Malaysian, you'd think I'd know the answer. LOL.

Yeah, do a weekly thing, why not?

Hollywood has taken over your mind friend! They're fruit bats, so I presume they're fruitarians but you'll never know, they might just turn bloodsuckers when fruit is short. Haha!
Yeay! I got an A+!! Didn't think that I can still get A+ in anything :P

Hahaha....teacher also fail! Aiyo so near.....go la one day. You'll love it if you like nature and it's wonders. But let me warn you first, you have to walk for about 45 mins to get to the bat observatory. Think you're up for it? Go, go, go!
That is a lot of bats.

Yes that is a lot! Malaysia has lots to offer, not just bats - come visit us one day!
Wow I've never seen so many bats! We only see the occasional one here, I did see some when I was in Sydney recently at the botanic gardens, they were pretty big and hairy compared to what I expected.

That's why it was such an awe inspiring sight. And they kind of snake their way across the sky as they fly out. Come visit us one day. Malaysia has lots to offer.
Love bats. Yes I do - amazingly intelligent creatures. These look as if they might be micro bats. I have some around here and also see the larger grey-headed flying foxes. So nice to have contact with a relatively close country!

Considering what you do Cheryl, I'd say you love all animals. They're fruit bats. Hey you should come visit us! We are really close. I have an aunt living in Sydney and would love to visit her one day. I've only been to Brisbane, The Gold Coast, on a company trip many years back. You have a beautiful country. I'm glad we're connected through cyberspace too!
this guessing game is such a fun idea!!! bring more!!! :)
