KL Bird Park - A Family Field Trip

Some friends invited us along to the KL Bird Park on Sunday. It was a good trip, a first for all of us actually. A real nice place to take the family.

KL Bird Park - the world's largest free-flight walk-in aviary (so they claim) is located within the KL Lake Gardens. Can't miss the entrance once you get to Lake Gardens.

Never been this close to an exotic bird. Helping themselves to some papaya.

Show off!

My favourite was the flamingo pond. You can get so close to them and they wouldn't budge.

If I slept like this, I'd need a chiropractor to straighten me out after!

Feeding time!

The highlight of our visit - being this close to a peacock flexing it's feathers (too bad the female peacock wasn't as impressed as we were!)

Two lovebirds to end our visit.
